Xhafaj Audio-Recording, DP-SMI Require Rama's Investigation

Democratic Party (DP) and Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) required by the Serious Crimes Prosecution on Wednesday to investigate Prime Minister Edi Rama regarding audio-recording of the Interior Ministers' brother, Agron Xhafaj.
According to the heads of these Parliamentary Groups, Edmond Spaho and Petrit Vasili, Rama had to hand the expertise that made for Xhafaj audio-recording, otherwise he had to be accused of obstructing the truth.
"The opposition has released an audio-recording where a drug-related conversation, included the brother of Interior Minister, Agron Xhafaj. Immediately, 24 hours later, the Prime Minister said that recording was fake and that he possesses the test of expertise he has done in one of the most renowned labs in the world. In accordance with the law, we appealed to the Prosecution to open a criminal investigation against the Prime Minister, Edi Rama, for obstructing the truth, for hiding the truth, failing to submit the evidence in question, the expertise he has done in such a short period of time in one of the best labs in the world," said Spaho.
