10th EU-Albania Subcommittee Meeting on Justice Convened

The 10th meeting of the Subcommittee on Justice, Freedom and Security, between the European Union and Albania is being held this Wednesday.
During this meeting will be discussed the progress achieved by Albania since 2017 until today, regarding the reform in justice.
More specifically, this meeting addresses the implementation of the justice reform, the fight against corruption, organized crime, including drug trafficking, police cooperation, asylum and migration, border management and visa policies, anti-terrorism and human rights.
The meeting is chaired by Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj and the Head of Unit for Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the European Commission, Michela Matuella.
The discussions of this meeting take place in Tirana and will last two days.
