The government's project, "100 Villages", has started its implementation this Friday by focusing on some objectives.
According to the Public Prosecution Agency, the procedures are opened, relating to the study of the project to improve and increase the hosting capacity, the establishment of tourist signs in agro-tourism destinations, which includes high risk beaches, and tables with the golden rules.
Being that in this case these objectives belong to tourism, the contracting authority is the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, with a fund of ALL 4.1 million.
"Despite the fact that most tourists use mobile and Google maps to orient and move, there is again a group of tourists who need the maps printed in paper form. The problem in Albania lies in the fact that the circulation of maps distributed in the free market does not justify the cost of producing quality maps," said the Ministry.
The institution added that, in some areas, there is a need to fill in the signaling for 44 beaches that are part of 100 villages.
