The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, held a meeting on Monday with foreign representatives in the framework of the "100 Villages" program, where he asked them to invest in agritourism.
According to him, the help they can give cannot be only through investment and monetary values, but also through links and sharing of information and experience.
"The National Rural Revival Program has gathered us here to see how we can interact with you. Our goal is to develop agritourism for 100 villages, by using the natural and human capacities. It is a very effective element in combating poverty, through elements that Albania owns. Of course, money is important in this initiative, but it is also knowledge and connections. Together with our friends we believe we can share the information with you, and see how we can contribute. It is not just about investing," said Rama.
He added that the main goal is to build an academy for 100 villages where people will work to ease work.
