Prime Minister, Edi Rama, had a meeting with employees of tourism this Monday in Durresi. He was sure that within the next 10 years, vacancies in tourism will grow massively, and possibly go up to 250 thousand people employed in this sector.
"Last year there were 42.000 registered tourism employees. It will grow up to 250.000. Within 5 years, 10 millions of tourists may come, but we need investments because there are not enough places of accommodation", Rama said.
He further added that those who choose vocational training have more possibilities to find jobs.
"There are many vacancies of all kinds in big and small companies. The minimum wage is low, but it isn't ALL 150 thousand. You have to search for work even though it is hard sometimes. A graduated person from EU makes 120 applications and 35 interviews to find a job," concluded the Premier.
