Frederick Veseli's Empoli, returned to victory in Italian B Series after the 2-1 success over Virtus Entella. The Albanian's team, unblocked the game in the 39th minute with Francesco Caputo, and managed to double the figures in the second half with Alfredo Donnarumma's goal.
De Luca's goal in the 83rd minute did not serve a lot to friends, who were forced to go out of this match without points.
Veseli started off as a titular player, but was forced to leave the game in the last few minutes due to a muscular problem. On the other hand for Virtus Entella, Azdren Llullaku was only activated at the 79th minute of the meeting, while Naser Aliji was absent due to a flu condition. After 29 meetings played, Empoli leads Italy's B Series, being the main contender for next season among the best.
