The Albanian National Team striker Eros Grezda admitted during a recent interview that his transfer to Dinamo of Zagred on January failed in the last minute. He said that an accord has been reached with the giants of Croatia but things went in the wrong direction because Osijek refused to be deprived of his services.
"Dinamo Zagreb was very interested for my services. But two clubs did not manage to find an accord that would enable my transfer. Meantime I reached a personal accord with Dinamo for an annual salary of around EUR 500.000 each year. My card includes a EUR 2.5 Million clause that Dinamo was ready to honor but Osijek insisted on keeping me. Two clubs presidents have excellent bilateral relations, thus the transfer was not finalized," said Grezda.
