American Ambassador, Donald Lu, considered a victory for the Albanian justice, the withdrawal of the 'corrupted' judges and prosecutors from the system to avoid vetting.
But according to him, this action does not help them to be immune and escape investigations.
"The decision to leave the judicial system is a personal one. All those judges or prosecutors which withdraw by the system in order to avoid vetting cannot turn back in for 15 years. This does not help these persons to avoid criminal charges for abuses with their duty or corruption. Those who fears vetting, must also fears investigations," says Lu.
Two days ago, former Chief Prosecutor, Adriatik Llalla, gives his resignation from any duty in the judicial system.
