Durres Theater Celebrates 65th Anniversary

Durres Theater 'Alexander Moisiu' celebrated last night the 65th anniversary of creation with a festive event that gathered distinct personalities of this theater and other fields. The first premiere of this theater in 1953 "The village's girl" of Fatmir Gjata, directed by Pandi Stillu, was remembered during this event that was designed as a meeting between generations.
In his address the theater's director, Bashkim Hoxha recalled the past generations of this cultural institution, but without forgetting the contribution given by the current actors. He said that Durresi Theater will bring on stage some new plays in the framework of 'Scanderbeg's Year' intertwining them with the usual activities.
