Master of Albanian Dances Rexhep Celiku Dies at 63

The master of Albanian folk dances Rexhep Çeliku passes away at 63. He died due to a grave illness.
Çeliku was the first soloist of Albanian Folk Song and Dances Ensemble. He realized numerous shows in the Albanian stages and abroad during a career that lasted several decades always conveying great emotions to the audience with his brilliant performances.
His latest public appearance was only a few days ago during a ceremony organized in the presidency premises where the Head of State Ilir Meta awarded to him and his partner on stage, the dancer Lili Cingu the 'Nation's Honor' medal for their great contribution to the Albanian folk.
