Security Challenges, Bushati in Wien at the Ministerial Council of OSCE

Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ditmir Bushati attended on Thursday the 24th meeting of the Ministerial Council of the OSCE in Wien after the invitation of Austrian Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs Sebastian Kurz.
In the conference participated 45 Ministers members of OSCE. In this meeting which indicates the end of the Austrian chairmanship of OSCE, the ministers focused on the topics related to conflicts resolutions and security challenges the organization faces, specially taking into account the resolution of the crisis in Ukraine and the respective surrounding region.
In addition, the Ministers discussed the issues regarding the efficiency of the organization and ways that it can be improved. Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Bushati referring to the crisis in Ukraine, underlined the necessity “that all included parties to apply fast and in full manner the Minsk Accord and to respect their commitments”. Referring to Kosovo, Bushati highlighted the fact that “OSCE must not discuss for Kosovo, without Kosovo, as part of the discussion”.
