Emiljano Shullazi’s trial session has been postponed due to prosecutors’ absence. On view of this fact his lawyers addressed to the court asking for the immediate suspension of the case against him.
“The prosecutors show a complete lack of seriousness in the case’s representation. Emiljano Shullazi continues to remain unjustifiably in prison. We demand the immediate suspension of the case against him,” declared Shullazi’s lawyers.
The notary Aida Spahiu and Romeo Tarja, the bodyguard of businessman Ylvi Beqja, a protected witness in Shullazi’s trial, were expected to be confronted during this session due to the fact that during their previous testimonies they denied any kind of intimidation from Shullazi.
Meantime the protected witness Beqja claims that he was forced to sign a document in front of the notary with Shullazi’s gun pointed to his head.
