Three Albanians and a Greek citizen were arrested by the Italian police in Frosinone following the seizure of a quantity of cocaine worth EUR 1 million.

The narcotics quantity was seized during a blitz raid conducted by the Italian police in collaboration with Guardia di Finanza in the railway area, largely known as meeting point between drugs dealers and drugs uses.

The arrests finalized an inquiry that lasted several months and was based on the suspicious movements in this area of a previously convicted Albanian emigrant.

Some 11 kg of cocaine, divided in 11.000 doses ready to be distributed, were seized by the police in quality of material proof along with 5 vehicles and 13 mobile phones.

The inquiry aimed to define the drugs origins and destination is still ongoing.
