'Misto', an Albanian drama written by Naun Shundi will come for the first time on the National Theater stage next weekend. This drama, which belongs to the absurd theater, conveys some powerful messages on the communist system and the violation of human freedom.

The characters continuously involve in debates with each other even for the most common things. They continuously make unsuccessful efforts to save from the only nightmare, pain and torture called “Misto”.

The play’s author and director Shundi has chosen the cast of actors composed by Bujar Asqeriu, Helidon Fino, Adelina Muça, Erion Kame, Niada Saliasi and Genti Deçko. According to him this play presents the reality from a different point of view.

“It’s a play slightly written in a different way, a typical example of absurd theater. The absence of freedom during that period mutilated the people in some cases not only psychologically but also physically,” said director Shundi.

“Misto” will be presented to the drama-lovers from October 13 to October 15. This play was deemed as one of the best works in the “Albanian Drama Reading Nights” two years ago.
