Albanian Parliament Approves Government's Program

The Albanian Parliament approved on Wednesday new government program. With 78 votes pro and 51 against, majority approved after a marathon session early this morning the program for the next 4 years of governance.
The Party for Justice, Integrity and Unity (PJIU) MPs and Social-Democrat Party (SDP) MP, Tom Doshi joined votes with Socialist in favor of the new government. Meantime the Democratic Party (DP) and Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) MPs voted against 'Rama 2' political program.
The new cabinet is now expected to take oath in front of President Ilir Meta and then proceed with the first official meeting.
Earlier Prime Minister Edi Rama declared that two decisions will be taken during this meeting. The first decision is related to the proclamation of 2018 as Scanderbeg's Year while the 2nd one will aim to put an end to bureaucracy in administration.
