New School Year, Police Increases Security Measures

Around 495.000 children returned to school throughout Albania on Monday while the General Director of State Police, Haki Cako ordered the increase of security measures to prevent any possible terrorist attack.

The new school year has been marked by tighter screening of people entering school buildings, more security drills and a greater police presence.

Meanwhile, road police will restrict parking, attitudes and circulation of vehicles in specific road segments near the schools premises.
