Teheran, Albanian Artists Enchants the Public

The Albanian artist Genti Tavanxhiu was awarded the first prize at the 8th edition of the International Sculpture Symposium that took place in Tehran for his 2.8-meter-high sculpture titled "Fragile". 

The talented sculptor realized this work in the Milad Tower yard, part of the Iranian capital, during the symposium. The work process kicked off on April 21 and was finalized on May 14. 

The newspaper “tehrantimes.com” wrote an article dedicated to this prize awarded to the Albanian artist. The 2nd prize was awarded to the Iranian artist, Mostafa Mohseni, while the third prize was divided between two artists, the Italian Francesca Bernardin and the Japonese Tatsumi Saka.
