Former MP, Mark Frroku eludes conviction for the murder of Aleksander Kurti in Belgium. The prosecution request for a 25-years imprisonment period for Frroku was rejected on Friday by the Court of Serious Crimes in absence of strong proofs.
But, from the other side, Frroku was condemned with 7 years and 6 months imprisonment on grounds of asset’s concealment, money laundering and illicit construction.
Speaking to journalists after the session Frroku’s lawyer declared that this was an expected verdict in absence of proofs against his client. He declared that they would now address to the Court of Appeal asking for the abrogation of Frroku’s conviction on money laundering grounds.
