The Parliamentary Inquiry Committee for the privatization of the Distribution System Operator into CEZ company will submit a request to the Parliament for the indictment of Shkelzen Berisha, son of former-Prime Minister, Sali Berisha. The last refused to testify in relation to the CEZ scandal.
Socialist MP, Taulant Balla, appealed to the prosecution in quality of this committee chair, to prosecute Shkelzen Berisha on grounds of the above mentioned charge. If found guilty former PM Berisha's son risk an imprisonment period that goes from one year up to three years.
Shkelzen Berisha appeared three times in front of the investigative committee but refused to take the oath about telling the truth over his role in the denationalization process.
