Gianni De Biasi does not hide his desire to lead some of the Europe’s best teams. The Albanian National Team coach, Gianni De Biasi accepted during an interview given to “Corriere Dello Sport” his ambition to become the coach of a Spanish or even British team, even on view of the fact that his contract ends after the World Cup 2018 qualifying matches.

“This is the right time for a new beginning. I do not exclude neither Spain nor England, on contrary it’s a challenge I am willing to endure. It’s time for a big choice. Albania has given me so much, I feel as one of them, but life goes on. My career is still evolving, I am still young and willing to go even further,” said the 60-years old coach.

Referring to the qualifying matches for the World Cup 2018 De Biasi said that Albania should defeat Italy and Israel for a chance to be qualified.

“My team is not in the best physical shape. Numerous players will be absent in the match against Italy. I would have to think up of something due to the problems in the defense sector. Italy has Insigne, Belotti and Immobile. Ventura has multiple choices. Anyway, we will try our luck, despite being a smaller team,” said De Biasi.
