Foreign Affairs Minister, Ditmir Bushati warned of risk of influencing policies in Balkans during a speech on Friday on the occasion of Shkodra University 60th anniversary. Speaking over the current crisis in Macedonia, Kosovo - Serbia problems, Bosnia’s stagnation, or third pairs’ intervention in Montenegro Bushati said that this is a clear indicator of the region’s risk of being involved by influencing policies.
“The foreign policy is experiencing a continuous pressure to scan decision-making and resolve different challenges. After more than 3 decades it remains difficult for us to accept that a new policy beyond the cemented blocks should be established. Another quality and speed level is needed in this process. The essence of judicial reform is that we need more justice, in the interest of country’s development. No stable creative development may exist without the right’s protection. I disagree with those claiming that judicial reform was based on internationals interventions,” said the minister.
